I was born in Montreal, and at the age of 19 I moved with my family to the City of Toronto, where I attended the University of Toronto and graduated with an Hon. BA in Political Science. I then completed a Bachelors degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University.

Notably among my post graduate work experiences, I was employed as a City Planner with the City of Edmonton’s Planning and Development Department, and I was a Construction Project Coordinator for the University Health Network of Toronto. Through these positions I have had the opportunity to develop leadership, project management, and community planning skills. I have worked on numerous political campaigns within the Ward, and was an Executive Member of a York Centre Riding Association.

I have always had a passion for being part of the political process and representing my community. For a number of years I have worked on various political campaigns within Ward 10, which has afforded me an opportunity to speak directly to constituents and understand the needs of the community in terms of local representation. And from what I have heard, they would like to have a strong and accountable voice at City Hall, which I believe I can best provide.

My vision for Ward 10 is to have a community that is vibrant and continues to flourish. A Ward 10 that redevelops in a way that substantially benefits the community. I would like to see our Ward's Avenues and Streets become more pedestrian and bike friendly, and certainly greener. In terms of the City at large, I would like Toronto to continue to grow in a sustainable fashion with consideration of the impact to the surrounding GTA, i.e. have existing transit infrastructure improved upon, and promoting infill development; be a city that is attractive to corporations and small businesses to operate in; and a city which continues to celebrate its diversity and multiculturalism.

Most importantly, I would like to see the citizens of Ward 10 and the City of Toronto take more ownership of how their neighbourhood's develop by setting up Community Associations which would become an essential part of the planning process. Hopefully, this would lead to a more sustainable and healthier City of Toronto for the future.
